RCB opener Chris Gayle only contributed 175 runs and was not out. That is considered a respectable team score in the IPL. A few more balls and Gayle would have hit two hundred in T20 cricket. Other RCB players like Tillakaratne Dilshan, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers played second fiddle as Gayle etched his name forever in the history books. Lucknow Super Giants (257/5) Lucknow Super Giants nearly surpassed RCB’s near-unbeaten record when they scored 257 runs in 20 overs, losing just 5 wickets.
